John Rullo
A graduate of Queens College with a degree in communication arts and a minor in creative writing, John Rullo has spent most of his life composing songs and performing in rock bands in the New York metropolitan area. Long retired from his day job, John continues to write his unique blend of irreverent memoir, fiction, short stories and Socratic inquiry he’d first found in songwriting. The father of three grown children and grandfather of seven, he lives on Long Island with his wife, Joann.

David Nolan thought he lived a quiet, ordinary life, until a chance meeting with an aging print shop owner taught him lessons beyond what any scholar could. Caught between his philanthropic nature and a vow to keep a long-lived secret, David inherits a business which becomes both a blessing and a burden.
When his generous behavior leads to suspicion and the implication of moral conflict, David must decide how much truth to tell, and how much of himself to keep hidden.
My Counterfeit Life is a poignant novel about identity, trust, sacrifice, the price of doing good, and the importance of following one's heart.
