Overview
Twilight Time is an award-winning horror short from Pretty Much Geek Productions, written and directed by Marciel Delgado and starring Erica Jackson and Lauren Villalobos. Following Violet as grief gives way to sleep paralysis and a sinister presence begins invading her reality, the film builds terror in the space between waking and nightmare. JTM Studio partnered with PMG to shape the visual world surrounding the release through concept art, poster and merchandise design, preview covers, logo and title-card design, and a broader collection of promotional assets. Twilight Time needed a visual identity capable of carrying the film’s sense of dread beyond the screen. Every element had to feel part of the same unsettling world while working across dramatically different formats—from key art and title cards to festival promotion, preview covers, and merchandise. The challenge was to create something cinematic and distinctive without revealing too much, preserving the mystery at the heart of the film while giving it a strong and recognizable presence throughout its release.

JTM Studio developed a cohesive creative direction rooted in atmosphere, tension, and story. Concept art helped establish the visual tone, while the logo and title card gave the film a memorable signature. The poster distilled its psychological horror into a compelling central image, and that foundation was extended across merchandise, preview covers, and supporting promotional graphics. Together, the pieces gave it a flexible visual system that remained consistent from the first reveal through festival screenings and the digital release.

The completed campaign gave Twilight Time a fully realized visual presence worthy of its cinematic ambition. Every audience touchpoint felt connected, allowing PMG to promote the short with greater clarity and confidence while reinforcing it as an original horror property. The film went on to win Best Paranormal Short and Best Special Effects at the 2023 Haunted House FearFest and earned official selection at festivals across the United States and internationally—giving the work a wider stage and a longer life beyond its initial release.
